Church Prayer Needs
Pray for our country and the newly elected politicians-both local and national.

Praise God for the way He has abundantly blessed us and gives us His amazing grace through the finished work of Jesus!

Pray for Pastor Dave & Ray as the seek God for direction and wisdom as they teach the Word of Truth each and every week!

Pray that we as a church model Jesus in all areas of life serving others.  Come to the ministry fair to see if there is any specific ministry that you can serve in to more effectively show our families and community Jesus love.

633 Praise and Prayer Concerns

Join us in praise and thanksgiving for the overwhelming support for our annual Harvest Food Ingathering for the Salvation Army...praise Him, too, for two great 633 prayer meetings and for the good response to our television ministry.  To God Be The Glory!

Don’t forget this coming Sunday- November 23rd at 6:00 p.m. our Baptismal Service and then immediately following our Congregational/Election of Officers meeting.  Every member is encouraged to attend!

NOW we covet a genuine interest in your prayers for...

1.       Harmony and unity within His body here at EBC.  Let's pray that we never give

Satan even a toe hold here.  Let's all submit ourselves to The Lord.

2.       Our staff and their families are counting on your faithful prayer support.  Pray for them

especially as we enter into the holiday season when their work loads are extremely

     heavy and demanding.

3.       Pray for our Adult Choir, directed by Donell Jacoby as they rehearse for their Christmas

Cantata (Sunday Dec. 14th @ 9:30 a.m.).  Pray, too, for our Bell Choir directed by

     Phil Handlon.

4.       Be sure to uphold the many "care-givers" of our church family.  Pray for The Lord to

strengthen and encourage them.  Why not give them a call or drop them a note

telling them you are indeed praying for them.

5.       Pray for the brave men and women of our church family serving in the Armed Forces

around the world.  Pray for their protection and effectiveness in their witness for The

Lord.  Be sure to pray for their families too.

6.       Pray for a great response to our special Thanksgiving Offering.

7.       Are you doing anything to reach out to the "hurting people" of our fellowship?  What

are you doing to help meet the needs of our unemployed or under employed people?

Are you making a real effort to minister to the elderly, lonely, or shut-ins?  The divorced

and widowed must not be overlooked...do your best to help those struggling from

various addictions to gain the victory.

8.       Pray for all of our people who will be traveling over The Thanksgiving Holidays to be

kept safely.  Pray, too, for our hunters to be protected as they go out each day.

9.       Continue to pray for all students, all ages, all schools (including home schoolers) to be

protected and to do well in their studies.  Pray, too, for our teachers to have a good

and positive impact on their students.

10. Our Missions:  pray for Sharon and Dave Benzel as they move from Far East Russia to

The Ukraine.  They serve with Send Int'l.  (effective Nov. 15).

 11. Our Known Sick and Shut-ins..pray for Peter and the church leadership as they leads others in  the Visitation ministry to about100 shut-ins, widows and widowers. If you would like to be involved in visiting or calling to talk to these in need please call the church and ask for peter or e-mail: peter@emmanuelbaptist.net Attention: Visitation Ministry. Praise the Lord He has moved the hearts of some to serve in this way!
